Periodicals List

The following is a list of the print periodicals to which the Library currently subscribes. The list is categorized by the subject specialties of The Art Institute curriculum, and periodical titles which pertain to more than one subject are listed under each. Titles which are of more general interest and those which support the General Education curriculum are listed under "General Interest." All subject headings and titles are listed alphabetically. The Library normally keeps the current year and the two previous years of most, but not all, of its print periodicals. Periodicals do not circulate and can only be used in the Library.

The location of each title is indicated next to the title. "Shelf" indicates that the title can be found either on the current-issues shelving on the west and south interior walls of the Library or on the back-issue shelving on the short shelving against the north and south windows. "Tabloid" indicates that the title is located on the tabloid shelving across from the current-issue shelves. "Annual" indicates that the title is shelved on the "Annuals" shelf along the west wall across from the Circulation Desk. "Desk" indicates that the title is on restricted access and must be requested at the Circulation Desk.

Titles that are designated "Online" may be accessed by clicking on the title with the left mouse button.

Stash

Stash Stash is an online archive of the world's most outstanding commercial animation, visual effects and motion graphics for advertising and broadcast, updated monthly. You must have Quicktime in order to view the archive. Stash is available both for on-campus and off-campus use. When on campus, click on IP-based login on the main page. Off-campus use requires a username/password, which are available at the Circulation Desk upon presentation of a valid AiDallas ID card.
