DatabasesPLEASE NOTE: Access library resources on or off campus: LOGIN, then click on "Library" The Library subscribes to a number of electronic databases. These databases are exclusively for the use of current students, faculty, and staff of The Art Institute. Under current licensing agreements, access to these databases by individuals who are not currently members of The Art Institute community is prohibited. All of the following databases have a number of features which make searching them both easy and flexible. Basically, the search engine for each one uses keyword searching techniques. The advanced searching features available in each one are generally easy to use. Simply follow the database directions. For questions about search techniques, ask one of the librarians on duty. Members of The Art Institute community who wish to access the subscription databases from off-campus sites must come to the Library in person and present a valid ID card to obtain the username and password for the desired database. |
